| Go through emails from overseas, discuss research topics and projects |

| Eat breakfast and come to work |

| Go through various news sources to see what happened overnight |
| |
| 11:00 |
| Meet with some researchers to discuss current research topics |

| 12:00 |
| Develop strategies, trying out various ideas; this is the fun part and takes up most of my time |

| 15:00 |
| Sometimes, debug codes and implement new features to my simulator; other times, attend meetings to improve executions and data management or read academic papers and discuss them with peers |

| Throughout the day, constantly check U.S. trading numbers to make sure strategies are working properly |
